I have spent much of my lifetime dabbling in different art forms and recently have been focused on watercolor painting and fused glass. I find the greatest joy through learning, exploration, discovery, and creation that come with each piece. I especially enjoy watercolor for its range of possibilities and challenging, unforgiving qualities and find fused glass exciting because it is both exacting and unpredictable. I have benefited from instruction, sharing and mentoring from very talented and generous artists including Paul Jackson. For me, the joy of art is found in the process, in the challenge of creation. It’s taking materials and tools and combining them with inspiration, memories and dreams to create a story that’s told on canvas, within glass or through a lens. I love learning, experimenting, and challenging myself and find it incredibly rewarding to be able to evoke emotion with my art and to bring joy to others.
