Student Testimonials and their art
It is so rewarding for me to see a student when the watercolor bug bites and they see the artist within them emerge. He are some testimonials from student and their works.

Although I was an absolute beginner with watercolor painting, Lance was able to guide me through my first creation. Its all about taking that first step and just trying it. I learned so much about color blending, shading, and basic composition. He gave me a great start!

Lance is an enthusiastic teacher. He demonstrates techniques to the group but gives individual help and encouragement. Lance allows the students to paint their own subject matter rather than everyone working on the very same thing.  There is a lot of support in class but yet you have a lot of freedom to paint. In the classes I took with Lance there were experienced watercolor painters and beginners, which was great because there was always something going on to learn and motivate me. Lance brought us together as a group of watercolor painters, who helped and supported each other. I highly recommend Lance Tischauser as an instructor.

I have only fond memories of my first experience with watercolors. You made us feel relaxed and confident that we could actually learn a not so easy media to work with.
After you moved away I have continued to pursue watercolors, thanks to your encouragement!
I have followed you on Facebook and enjoyed seeing your latest works.

Lance introduced me to Watercolor painting in a community education class. He is a fun, mellow teacher who not only instructs but also gives demonstrations for the class. I haven't stopped painting- just slowed down only because i don't take the time to paint as much as i would like.

Lance, your style/class were great. As a new painter it was fun to learn from you. I still practice but need another class from you.

Leigh

An accomplished artist in his own right, Mr. Tischauser is an excellent teacher as well. His love of his craft is apparent, as is his enthusiasm for sharing his techniques and experience with intermediate-level students and those just getting started. His classes are engaging and fun, and he will undoubtedly introduce you to his "secret weapon' - indigo!
